Before taking on those roles, Andy served for 20 years as the founder and CEO of ELIJAH, which specialized in digital forensics and electronic discovery. Andy named ELIJAH after his eldest son, in part as a reminder of why he needed to go to work and why he needed to come home.

He also served as General Counsel of the International Save the Children Alliance in Geneva, Switzerland, and was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Harlington Wood Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Andy earned various national recognitions for his work in legal technology, and received the Outstanding Recent Alumni Award for Public Service from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Andy graduated as class valedictorian from the University of Illinois College of Law, Summa Cum Laude, where he also was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Illinois Law Review. He earned his bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Illinois State University.
